Lenovo chose SWOT to conceptualize and run the media relations for its Olympic Torch 2008 campaign. Lenovo designed and created the Olympic Torch for the 2008 Olympic Games with the same precision, innovation and beauty invested in the design and creation of Lenovo notebooks.

Being able to trust your agency and agency’s recommendation is key to a successful PR campaign. Lenovo entrusted SWOT with selecting and appointing the Lenovo Torch Bearers for Malaysia Olympic Torch Relay and by choosing the appropriate candidates, we created a number of different conversations with media interested in the Olympics from different angles.

Lenovo Olympic Torch Bearers, which included Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir – a well-known social activist, generated a massive media interest in Lenovo, during the Olympic Torch Relay. The campaign saw over 40 stories and 6 TV interviews including on CNN, ESPN Astro Awani,and NTV7 The Breakfast Show.
